Medal Ball 2017

on Oct 23, 2017 in Event

A couple dancing RhythmTwo weeks ago ArthurMurray Jacksonville South studio was hosting an annual event for all our students – Medal Ball! This is not only a fun party, but also a chance to show off the skills everyone has developed.

Traditionally, this time of the year is the time to do a check-out; almost like in school, students do a little check on their progress and move to the next level of dancing. Arthur Murray Dance Studios follow a Medalist system that includes several levels of dancing: Bronze, Silver, and Gold. Students start with the Bronze level and work hard all the year to move to the next one.
Medal Ball is a great opportunity to dance among other students and practice performing for the public. If you do not feel comfortable dancing in front of a big crowd, events like Medal Ball will definitely help you to overcome the fear.
The students of the two studios – Arthur Murray Jacksonville South and Arthur Murray Saint Augustine – showed their skills at Medal Ball 2017. We are extremely proud of each one of them because good results take a lot of effort, work, and patience. We are excited to see more success and more improvements from now on!

Marina and Vasiliy Vlasov, Aida and Aleks Skriptsov, Misha Vlasov and Anna, and Irina Babina and Pavel Andreev performed with their amazing dances to bring more inspiration to the students. We always encourage our students to participate in events like Medal Ball also to be able to see their instructors dancing.

The next event on the horizon is North Florida Dance Challenge on December 15th-16th! Get excited and plan to participate! This will be an unforgettable experience for everyone!
