During your one-on-one private dance lessons, you’ll receive personalized instruction that will help you achieve your ballroom dancing goals. Your dance teacher will show you technique, styling and ways to improve your leading/following. An up-to-date record of your dance lessons will also be kept as part of your instruction.
Group classes are an important addition to your private instruction, giving you the opportunity to dance with a variety of partners, develop good dance habits and meet other students in the studio. In group dancing lessons, our Arthur Murray® dance instructors emphasize technique, style and a variety of patterns. You may learn a step or technique that your regular instructor hasn’t yet introduced. Or, you may gain additional insight and improvement on dances that are a part of your private ballroom dance lessons.
At Arthur Murray® South Jacksonville Fl, we hold scheduled dance parties (practice sessions) for all our students. These practice parties are held on a weekly basis. You’ll have fun dancing with the dance teachers and students in a relaxed and comfortable environment. This gives you the opportunity to practice and try out all the new dance skills that you’ve learned in your private dance lessons and group classes.
